There is something so interesting about a life that wasn't intended to be lived by the soul who carries the body that makes the ingredients for a life.
It's actually funny to think that a life being lived which was concieved by accidental pregnancy wasn't intended by anybody, except maybe God, to be lived at all.
I mean, does God hide away pre-made souls somewhere so that they are ready to go when a baby is born? Or is the soul created by the body at the same time as the flesh, suggesting that the soul is somehow biological in nature. Or perhaps it is neither and the soul is created by God at the time of conception and God just slips the soul into the newly-forming fetus just as casually as the fetus's father slipped his penis into the vagina of the (hopefully) willing recipient.
Casual sex isn't so casual when a woman gets inpregnated, is it? Doesn't stop a lot of people. I always thought it also so interesting to see an adult couple roaming around who are probably a level or two below what society, using societal standards, would percieve as "respectable citizens" but no one is going to stop those people from making babies. I mean, it happens all the time, right? Is it not a miracle that most of us- most of us turn out okay? Or do we?
I'm single and 24- not sure I really have any business telling anyone at all who should and should not be having kids. But that's what I meant by intersting- the fact that it is happening is just part of this life we live. Anyone who has the ability to create human life has the option to do so regardless of their financial situation, socioeconomic status, or even substance abuse problems. If your fertile, then go for it. That being said, I would imagine the states that are making abortion illegal at all costs must have some sort of plan to help the unprepared parents who are now forced to bear that child. Adoption, always an option, I guess. Preventative measures towards proper sex education could be taught more in schools or just given more piece of mind in the home to try to prevent unplanned pregnancies from happening in the very first place, that would nice, maybe.
I guess I get why parents blame other parents for the rude, careless, or inconsiderate actions of a young boy or girl- because they have not been taught the right ways to behave. Or they have been taught but were not disciplined enough. So what evil lies in the souls of children who have total disregard for both respect and discipline when the parents did the best they could?
Ugh, who is to blame then? Society? God? And to think that those of us casting the blame also did not ask for this life that we were given.

Question: Do broken people make broken babies?
I know it sounds a little harsh putting it that way, but really. I'm not citing any sources here, but I have a hunch that trauama that gets stored in the body will leave a mark on DNA and be passed down to the offspring through those genes. Little bit of nature vs. nurture should fix that though right?
So suppose this has been going on since the beginning of humanity. Well then it's no wonder why we live in such a broken world with corruption wearing the crown.
So my next question is in relation to all this brokenness in society. There is the issue that we have a bunch (I'm not sure how many) of wounded, traumatized people roaming the Earth projecting their insecurites onto one another (that might be me projecting) or inflicting emotional damage or pain onto others because they never learned how to process their own emotions properly.
Then that brings us back to the issue of the fact that these people who have no control over themselves or their emotions are indeed out here making children and passing on trauma without healing their own first; then it makes me wonder how good these broken parents are at teaching their children how to deal with their shit.
Big idea: Learn how to heal yourself first and foremost before making any big changes to your life. Actually, fuck it, don't even make any sudden movements before at least becoming fully aware of your own brokenness.
The kids are our future and hardly do I see that ever get overlooked, I trust that most people know to do their damn best job when parenting- in a world full of growing apparent meaninglessnesss, what we are teaching and showing our kids; how we are guiding them, etc. should be especially important, like, big time.
Sadly, some people are truly blind to the weight of certain ideas like that. It's crazy that anyone would take the idea of handling souls lightly. I might argue that a soul offers the deepest depths you can find that is both a part of and goes beyond this planet. That's why I've decided that there must be some divine work at play when playing this whole game, because we don't fully understand how life happens and the world hasn't been blown up yet (though we're getting closer).
Blame God all you want for this huge mess; this mystery. But at least have faith in yourself so that you may have faith in humanity. Do it for the kids.
